Making what's most important, a relationship with Jesus, most approachable.

Grant Todd

Pastor, leader, husband, and speaker

I'm on a mission to make what's most important, a relationship with Jesus, most approachable. As Jesus said, "I came that they may have life and have it abundantly." My journey, qualifications, and speaking topics revolve around this central mission. Everyone has a unique God-given purpose, and it's my passion to help them discover and fulfill it.

I grew up in the small town of Danville, VA, raised by my incredible mother, who single-handedly cared for my brother Blake and me. In high school, our world was shaken when our mom passed away. By the grace of God, we were adopted by our aunt and uncle in San Diego, CA, and we gained four little brothers and sisters. These early experiences shaped my perspective and deepened my faith.

As the high school pastor at Shadow Mountain Community Church, I work in partnership with parents to raise up the next generation of disciples who seek, serve, and share Jesus. Additionally, my wife and I co-founded Grant Todd Ministries to make the most important thing in the world, a relationship with Jesus, more approachable. We are deeply passionate about seeing the local church thrive and offer biblical resources to equip the saints in the work of the Gospel.

I hold a degree in Christian Ministry from North Greenville University, which has provided me with a strong foundation in theology and ministry principles. During my time at NGU, I also had the opportunity to be a part of the football team as a former free safety, an experience that taught me the importance of teamwork and leadership both on and off the field. It was also during this time that I met my wife, Taylor.

With over eight years of experience as a youth pastor, I have worked closely with young people, helping them navigate the challenges of adolescence and develop a solid spiritual foundation. Additionally, I serve as the chaplain for one of the largest K-12 private schools in the western United States, where I help guide students in their spiritual growth.
